BNO Visa Route Expanded Criteria

There have been 3 significant changes to this route.

  1. Adult children born on or after 1st July 1997 can apply independently of their parents (whether the parent applies or not). Naturally, the applicant will need to prove they are the child of a BNO parent.
  2. If the BNO parent is deceased, their adult children born on or after 1st July 1997 can now apply.
  3. Adult step children born after 1st July 1997 who live in the same household as the BNO step parent but they must apply at the same time as the BNO parent/partner applies.

These changes will mean that edge cases which prevented families from applying or children of BNO parents who were in the unfortunate situation of having a dead parent will now be able to apply.
